At Little Latham House, we understand the importance of healthy eating and creating positive relationships with food from an early age. We are passionate about providing wholesome, nutritious meals while encouraging children to take part in hands-on experiences that connect nature, learning, and food together.

Chef Nanny Jane prepares fresh daily lunches, many of which are cooked outdoors over the campfire within our woodland environment. Children are encouraged to get involved in the journey of food preparation — from growing fruit, vegetables, and salad in our on-site greenhouse to making pesto, baking crumbles, and preparing homemade soups and stews.

These experiences help children build confidence, curiosity, and a greater understanding of where food comes from, while encouraging them to explore new flavours, textures, and cultures through fun and engaging activities.
